    The REPLYTO is a suggested method to implement a reply when the
    original message crosses network channels/gateways.

    That is what Soupgate does when importing messages from internet to fido.

    Aftershock is a fidonet editor. Why should it put gateway kludges in messages?

    Aftershock seems to be a complete package: mailer, tosser,
    editor.
