I am using your oneline script here and have a request. Would it be possible t
add a "Save (Y/N)" prompt?
Also would it be possible as an option perhaps to save all those oneliners to
separate file that continues to grow? It would make a good source (I think) for taglines for things like MultiMail.

Can you give me some more info what you like to add do you one have a Save
Promt instant off the Add onliner or do you one have it after you add a online
?

The oneliner are write into the oneliner.dat file in your bbbs/script directory.
After chosing "yes" to add a one liner I sometimes find I couldn't make what I >was trying say fit in the space provided, or couldn't find the right words so
would like to quit and that point but currently there is no way to quit without saving something.
When someone enters a oneliner perhaps we could display what it would like lik
and ask if they would like to save it?

This is likely outside of what your script is trying to do and maybe I should work with the oneliner.dat myself.

Yes, the oneliner.dat is good for BBS display along with the name of the perso
who entered it. It looks good and I don't want to mess with that file.
My use here is for an external tagline file for MultiMail or GoldEd or other readers that can use a file like that.
If it was possible I'd like another file like taglines.txt maybe, with just th
oneliners as they are entered without any formatting or extra text, one per line. Here's a few lines of a tegline file I have here now (I'd like to grow it!).. as an example..

Ok i need some time to think about this but i try to make it this way.
If you like i can send you the code and you can work also yourself on it if yo
like to do this. Just let me know.
FWIW: your import above arrived all word wrapped together into three lines instead of the four individual lines they actually are...

I am not a programmer by any definition of the word, but I might be a small
time hacker. If you send me the code I could probably find a way (with a littl
help) to have the script create a taglines.txt file that I could use for this purpose.

Ah.. word wrapping is your friend, most of the time..
I'll have to be mindfull of that if I ever post anything from a file.go
I've added CR/LF line endings to that snippit (it was just LF) and I'll import it again. I think it'll look as expected.. :)

Well, my second import worked better but still no quite as expected.
I'll try another snippit (the last one!) with MultiMail and see how that goes.

Ok i see and understand, if you can wait a bit i can see i can change the code
i can take a look on it into the weekend.
nope... wrapped to hades again...

That wrapping is not in the localy saved message. It seems that BBBS is going to wrap outbound messages though.

I don't think so. I receive messages in this area from 153/757 to
757.1 with AfterShock and I see the word wrapping there also.
Aftershock is on my phone so it's hard to see since the screen on my
phone is small so everything is wrapped..
One day I'll get a tablet so I can get a better interface.. :)
