Hello All.

I am trying to reach Mike Luther, NC of 117. Problem is his system is POTS only and both his listed phone number are non-functional. One is constantly "circuit busy" and the other is disconnected. E-mail to [email protected]
is undelivered as the MX receiver is dead (mail.efty.com). However, he has an ftp robot that picks up mail on a daily basis. What it's doing with that mail/data is unknown. NetMail to him goes unanswered.

His location is somewhere near College Station, Texas. Does anyone know him personally or know how to get in contact with him? I received a phone call from him from a private number (no caller ID) a few months ago, but that's it... nothing else.

Any help will be much appreciated.

did you ever get hold of mike? you might try in one of the HAM related areas...
possibly another HAM might be able to raise him on the radio? his callsign is W5WQN... a quick online search indicates the callsign is still valid and not canceled or silent key...

There's no email listed for Mike on his QRZ profile. I also checked on the FCC ULS and no email listed there, so it's going to have to be a snail mail letter.

Thanks for asking, Mark. Never heard anything back; no phone call, no nothing, and his e-mail server has been hijacked. Mail to him bounces with "no response from server." He's not listed in any of the silent key databases that I've been
able to come up with. (Do hope he's still around!) But as you suggested, I'll post a query in one of the Ham echoes.

Thanks Sean. My last contact with Mike was to his public e-mail address
