I have a laptop from 2011, it seems that when I tried to install a ssd on it, it never perfectly booted where I ended up having to install its origial hard drive instead. :(

Sounds like a Cloning program error.
I have had great luck with the FREE program AOEMI Backupper Standard

I've serviced many laptops and seen this behavior happen with a few
different laptop brands. The Sata controller may not work correctly with SSD's. The most common symptoms are not being able to partition the drive or write a boot sector despite the drive showing up in the BIOS.

It was a samsung laptop. I think the only best solution is to get a 7200 rpm laptop hard drive as a middle ground.
